Barbacoa - Beef Cheeks
This is a recipe for beef barbacoa. Sunday mornings, in the Rio Grande Valley, we would line up to get this dish. It is tender and so so good. I highly recommend trying this recipe.
Servings: 2 Servings
- 1 lb Beef Cheek Meat
- 2 Cloves Garlic
- 2 Leaves Bay Leaves
- 1/2 Onion
- 1 tbsp Salt
Place all the ingredients in a Crock Pot for 8 hours on high or low for 12 hours.
Do not add water
This recipe is for a quick, not * messy, delicious Barbacoa.

- Serve with corn or flour tortillas.
- Add chopped onions with chopped cilantro to the taco.
- Finally top of with green salsa or red salsa.
